I'm getting really excited for this run of shows in the South! It's been over a decade since I've played a show in Orlando (the land of my birth). In fact, I have never brought my solo improv thing to any of these towns, so it will be a real adventure. Come see me!
A few notes about each show:
- 4/5 - Orlando, FL - The Treehouse at Full Sail University. I'll be doing a workshop on my approach to ambient guitar and improvisational looping @ 3:30pm. For the show, doors will open at 7, show at 7:30. BOTH ARE FREE and first come first served.
- 4/6 - Birmingham, AL - A Bryan Photo. Doors at 7:30, show at 8pm. $10. ADVANCE TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE.
- 4/8 - Louisville, KY - Private House Show. If you are interested in attended please contact me at hello@danphelps.com
- 4/10 - Nasvhille, TN - Bastion. I'll be sharing this bill with the wonderful prehab (aka, the wonderful Michael Ross). Show starts at 8:30pm. $10-15 sliding scale.
- 4/11 - Knoxville, TN. I'm doing two...count em'...TWO shows. A solo set at 6:30 at Pilot light (sharing the bill with Sacramento guitarist Ross Hammond), and at 10pm I'll be playing with Mike Baggetta's Torch Songs at Barley's. THIS SHOULD BE A BLAST.
In summary, let me say that I would love to play some music for you and I hope to see you at one of these shows (or show somewhere else) in the near future. The honor would be all mine.
