I love Sara Groves, so when she made a foray into the Pacific Northwest and invited me somewhat last minute to play with her, I left my plate of tacos, grabbed some gear, and hopped in the car. I used my vague recollection of the songs from Floodplain that I played on and just improvised my way through the rest as best I could. I joined Sara and the fabulous Melody Olson in Bellingham and Samammish, WA.
Update! Matt Chamberlain has consolidated the pieces he's been releasing into a new full length record. I'm honored to be on several of the tracks. It's actually the third Matt record that I've been on (you can find the other two right here). I'm really loving the new record - it's sonically and artistically deep, as you would expect from a person like Matt and the brilliant musicians who contributed to the project. Dig!
Lastly, here's a lovely clip from the December 2015 edition of Live Atmospheres, when I had my musical besties Steve Moore and James McAlister with me. There's a longer video in the works from this session.
